Meet Dr. Susan Greenbaum, DVM, MPH

After graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelors of Science, Dr. Susan graduated from The Ohio State University with a Masters in Public Health (2010) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2014). Working with clients to help keep their small and large animals healthy, her expertise ranges from preventive care through surgery. Her passion for animals also includes end of life care with a belief that the relief of suffering is the kindest gift to give.

Dr. Susan is also pleased to offer employee management and consultation, both in English and Spanish. During her time working on dairy farms, she worked directly with English and Spanish speaking employees, helping them understand the value of their jobs and their direct impact on animal welfare. By collaborating with employees and managers to better understand their roles, Dr. Susan helped increase investment in their jobs, yielding better work engagement. Her work has proved that employees who are enthusiastic about their jobs help foster a positive work culture, ultimately contributing to decreased turnover and more valuable, ideally skilled, employees.

In her free time, Dr. Susan enjoys running and is working towards running 50 half marathons in 50 states. She enjoys hiking with her coonhound Ginger and exploring the great outdoors. Animals have contributed greatly to her life and she is excited to continue fulfilling her passion for keeping pets healthy and happy.
