Cats who have opportunities to play and express natural behaviors tend to be healthier and less destructive in their environments.  A good way to classify toy types are ground toys and aerial toys.  Many cats prefer one style of toy so a little trial and error can help identify what style of toy your cat likes.  This is a great time to clean out the toy bin too!

1. Aerial toys - These often simulate hunting birds.

   1. Lasers (be careful with these!)
   2. Food puzzles
